Teikoku Databank: its network was accessed without authorization and some products could not be provided

   It detected an anomaly in the network and, after checking, confirmed that there had been unauthorized access. [1]

   It published a third report. No trace of file transfer or compression to outside was found, and no leak of information to outside has been confirmed. The attacker viewed or copied to the clipboard 170 files on a system administrator's PC, and 6 of them contained company or personal information. Re-entry has been blocked. [3] [4]

Internal systems were affected and some products could not be provided. The investigation was under way, and the cause and whether any data leaked were not known at the time of the announcement. [1] [2]

Of the 6 files, the "School File" data held information on 168 schools and the others held email addresses of 15 employees of group and contractor firms (4 companies). The other 164 files held system management information. [3] [4]
