   Late at night Japan time it confirmed that several group servers had been encrypted by ransomware. It immediately began investigating with outside experts and set up a company-wide response headquarters. [1] [2]

It disconnected some internal systems in Japan and abroad from the servers, starting with systems related to logistics. The website and email system are running normally.
