Uji Hospital: ransomware encrypted some data and logs of data sent outside mean a leak cannot be ruled out

   In the early morning it confirmed an attack by a third party against the corporation. Some data in the system was encrypted by ransomware and the attacker left a threatening message. [1] [2]

   It announced the possibility of an information leak caused by the unauthorized access. The announcement is published as two image files. [1] [2]

The investigation found a history of communication sending data to the outside, so the possibility of an information leak cannot be fully ruled out. The range and number of information leaked have not been disclosed. [2]
