Kawasaki Setsubi Kogyo: ransomware encrypts its cloud servers

Encryption of core systems hosted in an external cloud was discovered on June 30. Electronic transactions were restricted and work continued using physical documents. Initial investigation localized the damage to the cloud and internal transaction restrictions were lifted. Possible exposure of business-contact, employee, bank-account and contract data remained under investigation.
