Okinawa Prefectural College of Nursing: ransomware attack on its academic system

The academic support system of the Okinawa Prefectural College of Nursing was accessed from outside on 22 December 2025 and files on its servers were encrypted by ransomware. The system was cut off from external networks and stopped. As it handles student data, a leak could not be ruled out and an investigation continued.
