Suntory: unauthorized access at a PR contractor

Suntory Holdings said on 21 January that a contractor handling part of its public relations work had been accessed without authorization, and personal data of 914 people, including journalists and music critics, may have leaked: names, company names, email addresses, addresses and phone numbers. Contractor JPS reported the incident to Suntory on January 5; its investigation confirmed ransomware.
