Shiraume Toyooka Hospital: ransomware attack on the hospital and care home

Hospital systems including electronic records became unreadable on March 1; the first notice was published March 3. A health-ministry team investigated, and leakage from the associated care facility was confirmed March 4. On March 6 the team reported publication of data believed to concern users and families. The March 26 notice said analysis continued and identified affected people were being notified individually. No count was published.
