East: unauthorized access to its internal network

On 24 April, East Inc., which provides the MallPro system for shopping centers, found unexpected logins on its internal network, later confirmed as unauthorized access by a third party. The fourth report on 30 June closed the investigation: some servers showed traces of the attacker exploring and testing the internal environment, but no file encryption, ransom demand or bulk data transfer was found, and no evidence of data being taken. The company says a leak cannot be fully ruled out. No unauthorized access to the environments of customer services such as MallPro and +CMS was found.
