Sodick: unauthorized access to its servers

On 15 May, machine tool maker Sodick found suspicious behavior in some systems and traces of unauthorized access to its servers. The final report on 5 August said the attackers exploited a network device vulnerability and came in through the network of an overseas site. No sign of data being taken was found, but a leak of names, addresses, phone numbers and emails of business partners and employees could not be ruled out.
