Tokyo Hoso Kogyo: ransomware attack

On 2 April, paving contractor Tokyo Hoso Kogyo found access to its systems blocked, apparently by ransomware, and cut the devices off the network. On 12 May it said customer and partner company names, contact names, emails and bank details, and employee names, addresses and birth dates may have leaked. The final report on 31 July said attackers got into the internal network by exploiting a vulnerability in some network devices, and no evidence of data being taken was found.
