Gendai Butsudan: unauthorized access to its service network

On 19 June, Gendai Butsudan, an Osaka seller of Buddhist altars and fittings, said a third party had accessed the network of a service it provides, and that on 8 June it found personal data on its servers may have leaked. It cut the network off from outside access and now uses a different line. Card data and other data that could cause financial harm were not included, and data held by its parent Hasegawa was not affected.
