Kaga Solution Network: unauthorized access to the Academico Navi student PC store
On 1 July, Kaga Solution Network said Academico Navi, its site selling recommended PCs to students of universities and other schools, was accessed by a third party and up to about 170,000 customer records may have leaked. Its second report on 17 August confirmed a leak of 165,587 customers registered from December 2021 to April 2026: names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, member IDs, school details and purchase details. The attacker exploited a vulnerability in the site and sent the data out. The site is down and planned to reopen at the end of October. Schools using it, such as Meiji University (855 students at the first report) and Teikyo University, notified their students.
