Nissan Chemical: unauthorized logins to its cloud environment

On 1 July, Nissan Chemical detected suspicious activity in the cloud environment it uses and found that on 30 June a third party had logged in without authorization and created rogue servers. It blocked the access path and disabled the accounts involved. Its findings of 5 August said there were traces of access from the rogue servers to some other servers, but no data leak, tampering or malware infection was found, and business was not disrupted.
