Chubu Electric Power: unauthorized access to email and contacts

On 29 July, Chubu Electric Power received a tip from a third party, and its investigation found that credentials for some systems it uses had been misused to view about 2,400 employee emails and group contact data. Names, organizations, titles, emails and phone numbers of about 2,400 people at agencies, local governments and partners, and about 71,700 group employees and contractor staff may have leaked. Power supply and electricity and gas customer data were not affected.
