G-Plan: unauthorized access to the G-Point system
On 25 September, G-Plan, a BIGLOBE subsidiary, detected anomalies in the system of its G-Point points service and found it had been accessed from outside. It shut the system down the same day, stopping G-Point related services. Up to about 70,000 member identifiers may have leaked. The cause and scope are under investigation and no restart date has been set.
