Nippon Rent-A-Car: unauthorized access to its app

On 26 September, Nippon Rent-A-Car Service said a third party accessed the Nippon Rent-A-Car app's systems and personal data of 41 members may have been viewed: names, phone numbers, emails, login IDs, usage history and bookings, plus driver's license numbers, addresses, birth dates, last 4 card digits and cardholder names depending on what members registered. This is separate from the different-method attack affecting 55 members disclosed on October 1.
