Commune: unauthorized access to the Commune community platform

The Commune and Commune for Work community platforms were accessed without authorization from the evening of 5 October; data of about 307,000 members may have leaked. Users of Yamaha, Suzuki, LY Corporation, Sansan, Panasonic, Aomori Prefecture and others are affected. On October 12 Yamaha Motor said names, birth dates, gender, addresses, email addresses and more of about 1,600 members of its YAMAHA PAS Life e-bike community may have leaked. Email addresses and account names of about 1,600 members of a Yamaha engineer community were also affected. Mazda said on October 14 that member IDs, email addresses, usage history, survey answers and more of up to 4,103 members and staff of its CLUB MAZDA COMMUNITY may have been viewed.
