Tokio Marine X: possible unauthorized access to the contract management system

On 23 October Tokio Marine X SAST Insurance, a subsidiary of Tokio Marine & Nichido, said it found possible unauthorized access to the system that manages contract data on 21 October and has stopped related services since 22 October. Seven products are affected, including car loan repayment cover and heatstroke and influenza cover (also the docomo-branded versions); the customer portal and new applications are suspended. Claims, renewals and card premium payments continue. No leak of personal data has been confirmed so far.
