Wave: mail-order email account hijacked to send unwanted messages

A third party took over the mail-order account [email protected] and used it to send unwanted emails. Wave disclosed this on 31 October and suspended the account at the mail server. It has not disclosed when or how access occurred or whether data leaked. [1]

Wave asks recipients to delete unexpected messages from this address without opening their links or attachments. It is investigating the scope and cause. [1]
