Published findings and remaining uncertainty
On 2 November it reported intrusion into the mail service used by its mailing contractor. The 4 November update narrows possible exposure to email addresses registered by temporary and permanent-dispatch workers. Affected recipients/count are being checked and will be contacted individually. Names, phone numbers, subjects and message bodies are excluded. The mail service is stopped. Neither contractor is named, so this is not attributed to another recorded mailing breach. [1]
