   Tokio Marine Holdings announced that its group company Tokio Marine Insurance Singapore Ltd. (TMiS) had been hit by a ransomware attack. After detection the network was isolated at once and local authorities were notified. [1] [2]

At this point there is no indication that customer information or the group's confidential information was breached. An external specialist is analyzing the systems as a third party to verify the scope of impact. Only TMiS was affected and other group companies were not. [1]
