AIS: ransomware; business partners' personal data may have leaked
AIS disclosed ransomware damage to some internal servers on 8 November 2024. It found encrypted files around 08:00 on 5 November and disconnected affected equipment. Its 15 November findings said the files included business partners' corporate and personal information, including customer data, that may have leaked. Data within its products ran on a separate network and was unaffected, it said. On 24 December it reported that forensic investigation and malicious-application cleanup were complete, and files had been restored from backups to almost their pre-attack condition.
