Kanagawa Arts Foundation: servers of the operator of the Kanagawa Prefectural Hall and other venues likely hit by ransomware
On 2 December 2024 Kanagawa Prefecture and the Kanagawa Arts Foundation announced that a server used by the foundation, the designated manager of the Kanagawa Prefectural Hall, KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theatre and the Prefectural Music Hall, had been attacked from outside. Early on 1 December the contractor that manages the server detected an anomaly, and that afternoon it told the foundation that a ransomware infection was likely. The server held information on facility management and programs, the foundation's internal administration, and exchanges with performers and users. Data of the Kanagawa Members ticket club was not stored on it. The network was cut off and some work has been delayed.
