NTT Solmare: unauthorized access to the Comic Cmoa e-book store
On 15 October, NTT Solmare, which runs the Comic Cmoa e-book store, found possible unauthorized access to its servers and stopped the service; on 16 October it disclosed that member data had leaked. Its fourth report on 21 October said 319 records in the member database (emails, hashed passwords, nicknames, birth dates and genders) and up to about 4.2 million entries in system log files (emails, nicknames, birth dates and genders, possibly with duplicates) leaked. The affected system held no card data, and no leak of purchase histories was found. The entry point and attack method were identified and blocked, and it is preparing to restart the service.
