Ride On Express: ransomware at the server operator holding Gin no Sara customer data

Ride On Express Holdings, which runs the Gin no Sara sushi delivery chain, said the company operating the server that held its site and app customer data was hit by ransomware. It detected unauthorized access from 5 October; a system failure early on 7 October stopped ordering through its site and app. Names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, birth dates, password hashes and order histories of up to about 6.5 million records may have leaked. The server operator has not been named.
